Your circle
Help without hovering.
For partners, family, close friends, and caregivers: how to be near without crowding — and how hǣlan keeps the person you love in charge of their own space.
By invitation only
Nobody joins a circle on their own. The person receiving care sends every invitation, decides what each person may see and do, and can change or remove access at any moment. There is no request button, no default sharing, and no way in around them.
Can see
A quiet glimpse of how the day is going — only the parts they chose to share with you.
Can help
Appointments, questions for the care team, and practical support — rides, meals, company.
Always theirs to change
Permissions are controlled by the patient and revocable at any time. When someone in the circle adds or changes something, it is attributed to them — quietly and visibly — so the record stays honest and nothing happens invisibly.
And some things the circle never receives: private check-ins and reflections, kept moments, notes, and photos. Being invited to help is not the same as being handed the whole record.
Fewer “how are you feeling?” texts
Practical support inside the circle means the person you love repeats themselves less. The appointment is already visible to the people who need it. The question for the doctor is already riding along. You can help with the day without asking them to narrate it.
The person receiving care is never a data source. They are the author.
